It shows solar values, consumption data and the home battery state. With that information SolarDashboard can make use of surplus solar power. You can use your devices with green energy from your photovoltaic system. If there is no longer enough solar power, the devices are switched off again. For home chargers, even dynamic surplus charging is supported. This means that the charging power is adjusted according to the available surplus power, so that you do not have to buy additional power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Welche Ger\u00e4te werden unterst\u00fctzt?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SolarDashboard supports the use of surplus solar power for the following devices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electric vehicles: Volkswagen ID models, \u0160koda Enyaq, Audi e-tron, Seat Cupra born and more soon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EV Home charger: Easee, Fronius Wattpilot, go-e Charger (V2 and newer models)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HomeKit: Smart devices that support HomeKit, like sockets or switches   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why are Teslas (S,3,X,Y, Cybertruck) not supported anymore?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tesla changed their pricing model for using the APIs required to connect to their vehicles. The new pricing is far too expensive and would cost more than the potential savings users could gain with SolarDashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Which inverters or energy meter are supported?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SolarEdge inverter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SMA inverter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tesla Powerwall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kostal inverter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Huawei inverter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More will follow soon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Are smart meters also supported?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We currently support Tesla Powerwall which has an internal energy meter. <br>Support for more smart meters &#8211; such as those from Shelly &#8211; is currently being planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wie werden Benutzernamen und Passw\u00f6rter von Drittanbietern gehandhabt?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No usernames or passwords are stored directly. Only the access tokens are stored encrypted in the iOS or macOS keychain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ist es erforderlich, dass die Anwendung im Vordergrund l\u00e4uft?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Nutzung des Solar\u00fcberschusses funktioniert am besten, wenn die App immer im Vordergrund ge\u00f6ffnet ist. Idealerweise eignet sich daf\u00fcr ein \u00e4lteres iPhone oder iPad, das permanent mit dem Stromnetz verbunden ist und SolarDashboard aktiv im Vordergrund laufen hat. Du kannst zum Beispiel ein \u00e4lteres iPad verwenden, das an der Wand montiert ist. Alternativ ist SolarDashboard auch f\u00fcr macOS verf\u00fcgbar. Wenn die App und der Mac permanent ge\u00f6ffnet und aktiv sind, funktioniert das Solar- und \u00dcberschuss-Update-Intervall sehr h\u00e4ufig und zeitnah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Does the app remain active in the background?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In principle, the app runs in the background on modern iPhones \/ iPads. The update frequency cannot be determined exactly, since the background behavior is controlled by Apple. But the update occurs every 20 to 30 minutes on modern devices. Ihre Standortdaten werden nicht f\u00fcr andere Zwecke verwendet und nicht an Drittanbieter weitergegeben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Welche Smartphones, Computer und Tablets werden von SolarDashboard unterst\u00fctzt?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Derzeit ist SolarDashboard f\u00fcr iPhone und iPad (iOS 16 und h\u00f6her) verf\u00fcgbar. Dar\u00fcber hinaus kann SolarDashboard auf Mac-Computern ab macOS 13 installiert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kann ich auch festlegen, dass ein bestimmter Batteriestand garantiert aufgeladen wird, wenn nicht gen\u00fcgend Solarstrom verf\u00fcgbar ist?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ja, in SolarDashboard k\u00f6nnen verschiedene Einstellungen f\u00fcr das Ladeverhalten vorgenommen werden. So kann z.B. ein bestimmter Ladezustand erreicht sein, um das dynamische Laden mit Solar\u00fcberschuss zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Welche Auswirkungen hat es auf den iPhone oder iPad Akkuverbrauch, wenn die App kontinuierlich l\u00e4uft?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Hintergrundaktualisierung wird vom Apple-Betriebssystem iOS so gut gesteuert, dass sie keine sp\u00fcrbaren Auswirkungen auf den Batteriestand des iPhone oder iPad hat. Allerdings verk\u00fcrzt eine st\u00e4ndig ge\u00f6ffnete App im Vordergrund die Akkulaufzeit. Hier kann jedoch ein abgedunkelter Bildschirm helfen. Alternativ k\u00f6nnen Sie auch einfach ein Ladekabel dauerhaft anschlie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wie viel kostet SolarDashboard?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Derzeit ist SolarDashboard gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils kostenlos. Einige Funktionen wie das Laden von E-Autos oder die Nutzung von HomeKit-Ger\u00e4ten mit Solar\u00fcberschuss erfordern ein monatliches Abonnement, das jederzeit gek\u00fcndigt werden kann.
